The Role

• You'll build the software that sits around and alongside the enterprise systems we implement: internal tools, client-facing portals and dashboards, integrations between systems that weren't designed to talk to each other, and automation that replaces work people are currently doing by hand.
• The work varies. Some of it is greenfield application development, some is integration and API work, some is taking a manual process a client described in a meeting and turning it into something that runs itself. You'll be close enough to the business context to understand why you're building it, not just what.

Responsibilities

Development

• Design and build applications, services, and internal tools for client and internal use
• Develop and maintain APIs and backend services
• Build front-end interfaces where the work calls for it
• Write clean, tested, documented code that someone else can pick up

Integration & Automation

• Build integrations between enterprise systems, third-party services, and government platforms
• Automate manual business processes into reliable, monitored workflows
• Handle authentication, error states, and retries so integrations fail loudly rather than silently

Data & Reporting

• Write and optimize database queries against PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Build reporting and dashboard layers over operational data
• Design data models that hold up as requirements change

Delivery & Quality

• Participate in code review, testing, and release processes
• Support production software: fix bugs, add features, respond when something breaks
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, and push back when a requirement doesn't make sense
• Maintain technical documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong Python, with practical framework experience (Django, FastAPI, or Flask)
• Solid SQL and relational database experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server)
• REST API design and integration experience
• Git and disciplined version control practice
• Comfortable with Linux and command-line work
• Good written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage
• Able to work independently and take a problem from description to working software

Nice to Have

• JavaScript and a modern front-end framework (React, Vue)
• Odoo development or ERP integration experience
• Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment experience
• Arabic RTL interface development
• ZATCA e-invoicing or Saudi government API integration
• Automation platform experience (n8n, Make, Zapier)
• Cloud platform familiarity (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Mobile development exposure
