The Role

You'll own the infrastructure and delivery pipelines behind our client platforms, from provisioning environments through to production monitoring. This covers both our internal engineering workflow and the hosted environments we maintain for clients, so the work spans design, automation, and day-to-day operational reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment across multiple client environments
• Containerize applications and manage orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Provision and manage infrastructure as code, keeping environments reproducible and version-controlled
• Administer Linux servers across cloud and on-premises deployments, covering performance, patching, backups, and security hardening
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting so issues surface before clients reports them
• Plan and execute version migrations and upgrades with minimal downtime
• Manage networking fundamentals for hosted environments: DNS, reverse proxies, SSL/TLS, firewalls, VPN access
• Automate repetitive operational work through scripting
• Define and enforce Git branching strategies, code review gates, and release processes with the development team
• Support developers on environment issues, deployment questions, and DevOps practices
• Coordinate with hosting providers and vendors on capacity, support escalations, and infrastructure changes
• Maintain documentation and runbooks for environments, deployment procedures, and incident response

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience
• Strong Linux administration background (Ubuntu/RHEL)
• Solid experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes or equivalent)
• Practical experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
• Scripting ability in Bash and Python for automation
• Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
• Comfortable with Git and collaborative version control workflows
• Understanding of networking and infrastructure components: DNS, proxies, load balancing, SSL certificates
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, or regional providers)
• Good communication in English; Arabic is an advantage

Nice to Have

• Experience with PostgreSQL administration, tuning, and backup strategy
• Monitoring stack experience (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Background supporting multi-tenant or multi-client hosted environments
• Familiarity with Saudi data residency and PDPL requirements
• Software development background
• Relevant certifications (CKA, RHCE, cloud provider certs)
